Ronald E. Koloskee 1951-2025

DUBOIS, Pa. — Ronald E. “Ronne” Koloskee, a gifted musician, songwriter and artist, formerly of Warren, passed March 21, 2025.
He was born Sept. 16, 1951, in Indiana, Pa., to George and Mabel Eisenberg Koloskee.
His family moved to Warren and Ron graduated from Warren G. Harding High School.
A lifelong guitarist, Ron brought energy, soul and creativity to every stage he graced. Over the course of several decades, he played in numerous bands, leaving a lasting impression on audiences and fellow musicians alike. His love of music was not just a passion but a way of life, one that shaped who he was and inspired many.
Ron also was a skilled visual artist. He graduated from Kent State University with a degree in graphic design. Whether through sound or visuals, he had a gift for seeing beauty in unexpected places.
Ron leaves behind a daughter, Krista Koloskee; a grandson, William “Buddy” Wilson; and a brother, Dave (Thelma).
Ron leaves behind a legacy of artistry, friendship and a life well-lived in pursuit of the things he loved most.
He is deeply missed by family, friends, bandmates and all who knew him.
A celebration of his life and music will be announced at a later date.
