Rell G. Petusky 1942-2025

He was born July 20, 1942, in Schuylkill, Pa., the son of Joseph and Edith Schrope Petusky.

Rell was a 1960 graduate of Mahanoy City High School.

Rell was employed as a welder and also for the city of Niles in the wastewater, tree and police departments. He was a member of St. Pope John XXIII Parish – St. Stephen Church and enjoyed computers, yard work and was a U.S. Naval veteran.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Judith Madden Petusky, whom he married July 10, 1967; two sons, Greg Petusky of Akron and Eric Petusky of Philadelphia; a brother, Kerry Petusky of North Carolina; and a sister, Chloe Coger, also of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Miles Petusky, Ronald Pierce and Neil Petusky; and a sister, Lynn Bowers.

Per Rell’s request, cremation has taken place. There are no services at this time.
