Raymond L. Kinnison 1941-2025

CHAMPION — Raymond L. Kinnison, 83, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 9, 2025, at Hospice House in Poland.
Raymond was born Nov. 17, 1941, a son of the late Raymond and Mary Grace Durst Kinnison.
He was a 1960 graduate of Champion High School and a lifelong resident of Champion Township. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Raymond retired from the United States Postal Service after many years of service.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether he was gardening, working in his yard or taking fishing trips to Canada. He had a collection of eagles. In his younger years, he loved to coach baseball.
Raymond will be deeply missed by his loving children, Mark (Shelley Thompson) Kinnison, Dora (Jon) Moore, Jill (Shawn Cree) Skelton and Heather Hudak; grandchildren, Jessica, Mark, Bradley, Khrislynn, Kaeidynn, Jon, Stacy, Michael, Tyler, Matthew, Nicholas and Garrett; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara (Larry) Titus.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Megan Kinnison; and brother, Charles Hubert Kinnison.
Per Raymond’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date.
