Noralee Brownlee 1941-2025
 
								GIRARD — Noralee Brownlee, 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025.
She was born July 25, 1941, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Lester Brownlee and Judy Coddington Brownlee Tauro.
Throughout her life, Nora was a cherished sister, mother, aunt and grandmother. She was always ready to listen, to bear life’s challenges with quiet strength, and to offer unwavering love and support to everyone around her.
Nora retired from Amweld Building Products, where she was hired as the first woman to work on the floor.
She was an enthusiastic fan of music — enjoying live shows, dancing and listening to her extensive music collection. Nora also was a skilled crafter and loved to spend time with various creative endeavors, including floral arranging for weddings.
She will be missed by her loving family and many lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Eric Williams; sister, Lauralie Brownlee Zayas; and her former husband, Hank Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Wednesday (Howie) Weinberg; daughter-in-law, Zenaida Velazquez-Williams; one brother, Bob Brownlee; one sister, Betty (Gary) Tauro Wilson; and brother-in-law, Joe Zayas. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, who were her whole world, Saylah Savannah, Ariana Alliah and Eric Isaiah Williams; nieces and nephews, Mike (Dilaida) Zayas, Jill Wallace, Jennifer Brownlee, Jessica (Robert) Benedek, Steve Wilson, Gina Wilson and Katherine (Jason) Mathieson; and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life gathering will be held with immediate relatives. Per Nora’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
