Martha J. Reed 1951-2025
WARREN — Martha Janie Henderson Reed, 74, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, following an extended illness.
She was born July 13, 1951, in Warren, the daughter of Willie Lee and Elvenia Jean Allen Henderson.
Martha was employed with Carlisle Engineered Products before retiring.
She was a member of Grace A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include her son, David Henderson of Westerville; three brothers, Sai-E Jahari of California, Norman Henderson of Columbus and Jack Wiley of Warren; three sisters, Elaine Davie, Deborah Henderson and Karen Henderson, all of Warren; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elisha Reed Jr., and one brother.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Church, with calling hours 10 to 11 a.m.
Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.
