Jackie Lynn Dell 1954-2025

Jackie was born on July 5, 1954, in Warren, the daughter of Marvin “”Jack” and Betty “Jo” Heitman Hodgkinson, and lived in Niles all her life. Jackie was a 1972 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was baptized at St. Luke Episcopal Church in Niles.

She was senior designer at Reese Floral Art with her mother, who has been the lifelong owner for the past 72 years. She was especially talented in the floral design industry. She was well respected by her clients and friends, as she gave special attention to their weddings, parties and special family gatherings.

Jackie did enjoy doing some shopping in her spare time and cherished her family holidays with her children and grandchildren.

Jackie is survived by her mother, Jo Coupland, and her husband, Gary R. Coupland of Niles; three children, Aaron Torrence of Niles, with whom she lived, Andrea (Joe) Catone of Hubbard and Phillip (Tricia) Dell of Gainesville, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Brenden Ritter, and fiancee, Victoria Leonard, Delaney Grubbs, Joseph Catone, Vincent Catone, Patrick Dell, Lucas Dell and Alaina Dell; niece, Amanda Reese; nephew, Jason (Sharon) Reese; and two stepbrothers, Gary R. “Bob” Coupland and Richard W. Coupland.

She was preceded in death by her father, who died following an RMI explosion, and brother, Norman Reese, who died Aug. 27, 2022.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, at Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, Niles, with the Rev. Patrick Mitchell officiating.

The family will have calling hours 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, at the funeral home..

Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
