Wilma C. ‘Pat’ Stiles 1941-2025

She was born June 13, 1941, in Kuhntown, Pa., the daughter of the late James Albert Evans and Mable Caroline Shaw Evans.

Pat had lived in Newton Falls since 1969 and was formerly of Kuhntown, Pa., where she graduated from Waynesburg High School in the Class of 1960. She was a housewife and raised two wonderful children. Pat was a member of the Newton Falls VFW #3332 Ladies Auxiliary, where she was voted “Woman of the Year” in 2005-2006. She also loved throwing horseshoes in the VFW Women’s Horseshoe League.

Pat loved doing puzzles, riding the motorcycle with her husband, boating on the lake, golfing, and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; two sisters; three brothers; and one great-grandson, Kruz.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Teresa (Dan) Casterline of Newton Falls and Pamela Bennett of Warren; sister, Helen Daugherty of Elyria; brother, Clarence (Donna) Evans of Kuhntown, Pa.; five granddaughters, Allison Ezell, Amiee Moore, Aaron DeRose, Dani Lynn Proffitt and Kelly Wilson; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thank you to her caretaker, Mandy Ruschak, for the wonderful care she gave to Pat in her last days.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
