Sandra J. Berry 1946-2025

HOWLAND — Sandra Jeane Berry, 79, lived her life “one day at a time” and went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 12, 1946, in Parkersburg, W.Va., the daughter of the late Garcia G. Gant and Audrey Gant Cozzi. Sandra was a 1964 graduate of Howland High School and went on to graduate from the respiratory care program at Thiel College. She retired in 2015 from Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital as a respiratory therapist.
She was a devoted member of North Mar Church and enjoyed Bible studies, volunteering, crocheting, reading and particularly trips to the ocean with her family.
Sandra was blessed to have numerous in-laws who supported and loved her and her children for the years during her marriage to their brother, and the continued support after his passing. Above all, Sandra will be remembered for her love, devotion and support for her family, a loving mother, nana, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.
Her darling grandchildren were the light of her life; she loved them all so much and unconditionally.
Sandra is survived by her children, Brett (Melissa) Berry, Trent (Julie) Berry, Trevor (Melissa) Berry and Erin (Chad) Tricker; eight grandchildren, T.J. (Thomas John) and Emma Berry, Julian List, Camden and Lukah Berry and Gage, Cole and Ella Tricker. She is also survived by a sister, Paula (Kevin) Reynolds.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John (Tom) Berry, the love of her life, whom she married Dec. 21, 1965, and who passed away Oct. 22, 1979.
Family and friends may visit 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, where a celebration of life, led by Pastor Jordan Biel, will be held at 3 p.m. A celebration of life dinner will follow the service.
Burial will take place Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta, next to her husband, Tom. Please arrive at the funeral home by 9:15 a.m. to drive in the funeral procession.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren Family Mission or Rock of Grace Church (children’s ministry) in Kinsman.
