Nettie L. Wise 1925-2205
LEAVITTSBURG — Nettie L. Wise, 99, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, at Windsor House at Champion.
She was born Oct. 21, 1925, in Moorefield, W.Va., a daughter of William F. Sr.and Dora B. Miller.
Survivors include her son, Eugene D. Carey Jr. of Cortland, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Nettie was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene D. Carey Sr.; second husband, Charles W. Wise; daughter, Patricia L. Dilley; two sisters and three brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warren.
