Mitchell R. Gorbey 1951-2025

He was born June 27, 1951, in Warren, a son of Robert and Donna Strock Gorbey.

Mitchell was a 1969 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School, employed as maintenance manager at WCI Steel, enjoyed playing softball, ballroom dancing, cooking and golfing, and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Desiree Gorbey, whom he married May 12, 2018; a son, Martin Gorbey of Warren; his stepchildren, Ryan Urbania of South Carolina, Tyler Urbania and his wife, Anna of Colorado, and Taylor Totta of Niles; a brother, Gerald Gorbey and his wife, Betty of North Carolina; and a sister, Robin Alonso and her husband, Richard of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Chris Gorbey and Mark Gorbey; and a sister, Vicki Kois.

Cremation has taken place. There are no services.
