Louis Koleszar 1928-2025

NELSON — Louis Koleszar, 97, of Nelson Township, passed away peacefully of natural causes at home, Wednesday, July 30, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He was born May 11, 1928, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, to Helen Tokar of Leisenring, Pa., and Lajos Koleszar of Kaponya, Hungary.
Louis retired as a tool and die maker from Plant 14 at Packard Electric in 1990. He continued operating his family farm for the next 35 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Frances Kapich Koleszar. Additional survivors include a brother, Joseph (Jackie) Virag; children, Mark, Louis, Francine, Ramona (Steve) Orihill, Sandra (Edward) Winters, and Michael, Yvonne, Glen, Eric (Tara), Ruben and Jacob. He enjoyed spending time with his 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Alex and Steve Koleszar; daughter, Carolen; and sons, Bruce and Todd.
There will be no services.
