James F. Nay Jr. 1949-2025

Born in Warren on March 25, 1949, James lived a vibrant life filled with passion, friendship and community.

James is survived by his sister, Candace (Robert) Portilla of Stratham, New Hampshire; his nephew, Jason Ward of Newfields; his great-niece, Amelia Ward; his great-nephew, Bennett Ward; and the cherished friends and the many lives he touched through his generosity and zest for life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin Nay Sr. and Catherine Nadine Nay.

James’ laughter, warmth and love for connection will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew him.

A memorial and celebration of James’ life will be held 4 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, New Hampshire.
