Gina Vendemia-Marek 1966-2025
BROOKFIELD — Gina Theresa “GiGi” Vendemia-Marek, 59, died of natural causes Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, at home.
She was born March 27, 1966, in Sharon, Pa., a daughter of Francis J. and Patricia Ann Pollack Vendemia.
She was a teller and courier at 7 17 Credit Union and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Vienna.
Survivors include her mother, Patricia; daughter, Marlaina M. Marek; siblings, Frank Vendemia and Mindy Piper; and companion, Jeff Straka, all of Brookfield.
She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Michael A. Marek; and one sister.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Vienna, with Mass at noon.
A celebration of life will be 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Yankee Lake Inn.
Interment will be in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
