Dorothy L.J. Handley 1949-2025
WARREN — Dorothy Lee James Handley, 76, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025, at Country Club Rehabilitation Campus, following an extended illness.
She was born May 23, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, a daughter of James Kimbrough and Lucille James Ware.
She retired from Giant Eagle and was a member of Third Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Jenea Elise James of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Monique Michelle Dillard of South St. Paul, Minnesota; her mother; brother, Eugene Ware of Grand Forks, North Dakota; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Handley, and her father.
Services were private.
