Connie S. Reed 1942-2025

Born March 5, 1942, she was the oldest daughter of the late Charles William Sexton and Charlotte Elizabeth Weaver Sexton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Reed; her parents; one son, Michael Tennant; and two brothers, Charles and Jeffery Sexton.

She leaves behind her siblings, Christine (Bud) Smith, Joseph (Donna) Sexton, Timothy (Kathy) Sexton and Fredrick Sexton; as well as her children, Lori (Robert) Saxton, Jerry (Emily) Tennant, Ronald Tennant, and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Tennant (son, Michael deceased); seven grandchildren, Jewelia (JR), Ashleigh, Carolanne (Blake), Joshua (Corinne), Brooke, Zander and Jeremiah; and six great-grandchildren.

Connie enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Red Hats club and card club in Newton Falls. She loved to travel, shop and spend most summer days watching her grandchildren’s various sporting events. Connie was known for her authenticity, infectious laugh and her bubbly personality. She will be remembered enjoying a coffee that was too sweet for most accompanied by maple cream stick doughnuts.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. We invite you to celebrate her memory privately in your own way. We know that she will be with us all in spirit. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
