Catherine Hammer 1946-2025

YOUNGSTOWN — Our beloved Catherine “Katy” Hammer went to be with the Lord on Friday, Aug. 1, 2025.

Born Aug. 5, 1946, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who loved helping others.

Katy is survived by her loving husband, Jack Hammer of Youngstown; her son, Michael (Terri) Hammer of Connecticut; her daughter, Amy Hammer of Kansas; her three grandchildren of Connecticut; and dearest little angel, Tammy Sulek of Youngstown.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, at the Church Hill United Methodist Church, 189 Churchill Hubbard Road, Youngstown, with Pastor Sam Mohn officiating.
