WARREN — Pasquale Venettacci, 96, of Warren, passed away on Sunday morning, July 6, 2025, with his family by his side.
Pasquale was born on Nov. 11, 1928, in Collelongo, Italy, the son of Dominic and Mary Rosaria Cianfarani Venettacci.
Pasquale married the love of his life, the former Consiglia Cerone, on Dec. 1, 1956, in Collelongo. Pasquale came to the United States in 1948 and Consiglia followed in 1957. The two settled in Warren, where they would make a life for themselves and their family.
Pasquale was an excellent chef and was employed at the Golden Gate, followed by Cafe 422, where he retired from at the age of 75.
Pasquale was a longtime member of St. Mary Church, now St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, and enjoyed listening to opera, especially Mario Lanza. He also enjoyed watching soccer, rooting on his favorite teams, Notre Dame and the San Francisco 49ers, and playing bocce.
Pasquale was always interested in politics and loved to debate them with his family and friends. He always made his family his top priority and looked forward to attending his grandchildren’s activities and spending time with them.
Pasquale will always be remembered by his two beloved daughters, Mary (Gregory) Scerbo of Warren and Susie (Brad) Davison of McDonald; and two grandchildren, Vincent and Elena Davison.
Besides his parents, Pasquale was preceded in death by his wife of over 68 years, Consiglia, who passed away on June 21, 2025, and his sister, Benigna Pisegna.
A private family Catholic mass was held for Pasquale on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish-St. Mary Church, with Fr. Christopher Cicero presiding.
Burial was in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
The family requests that material contributions be made to the Healthy Hearts and Paws Project, 909 Martin Luther King Blvd., Warren, OH 44485.
