Marilyn D. Pease 1944-2025

WARREN — Marilyn D. Pease, 81, joined her loved ones in heaven on Wednesday morning, July 16, 2025.

Born Feb. 15, 1944, in Warren, Marilyn is the daughter of Frank and Caroline Ravoira Derville and remained a lifelong resident of the area. A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Marilyn went on to dedicate over 35 years of service to Packard Electric, all while managing the joys and challenges of being a mom to her four children.

Marilyn was proud of her Italian heritage and will be lovingly remembered for her warm heart, sense of humor and her unwavering faith in God. She instilled hard work, persistence and dedication in her children. Her journey on earth was filled with generosity, kindness towards others and forgiveness. She had a heart that gave without asking, listened without judging and loved without condition. Always quiet and reserved because she was always far more concerned with the needs of others, she carried burdens in silence, never wanting to worry anyone and was full of happiness in knowing that those around her were cared for.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — spending time with her family, tending to her yard and playing cards with her children and grandchildren. A devoted mother and grandmother, Marilyn cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.

She was of the Catholic faith and lived her life with love, strength and grace. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and those whose lives were touched by her.

She leaves behind her three children, Kim (Tom) Creamer, Dave Parilla and Niki (Steve) Vardavas; seven grandchildren, Tommy, Alyssa and Anthony Creamer, Kaytlin Parilla, and Nicholas, Madison and Leah Vardavas; a brother, Frank Donald (Terry) Derville; her beloved granddogs, Bella and Roscoe; her son-in-law, Bill Hionas; as well as nieces, cousins and dear friends.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 28 years, Jerry Pease; and her daughter, Kerry Hionas.

Family and friends may call 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road NE, Warren; a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.

Marilyn will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna.

In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions may be made in Marilyn’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 5021 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
