Jared E. Wilmoth 1934-2025

VIENNA — Jared E. “Sam” Wilmoth, 90, passed away peacefully, Monday, July 21, 2025, at his residence, with his family by his side.
Born Nov. 6, 1934, in Sutton, W.Va., Jared is the son of the late Oliver and Floda Butcher Wilmoth.
He married the former Charlene O’Brock on Oct. 18, 1976; she survives in Vienna.
Jared graduated from Leavittsburg High School in 1952 and attended trade school to become an electrician. He worked for Packard Electric in Warren as an electrician for 27 years and retired as a maintenance supervisor in 1991.
He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve for six years, earning the rank of staff sergeant.
In his spare time, Jared liked to golf.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jodi (Tony) Pucci of Vienna; two sons, Bruce (Paula) Morris and Troy (Debbie) Morris, both of Eloy, Arizona; a sister, Linda (Donald) Behner of Leavittsburg; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Ron Wilmoth; and a sister, Arlene Johnson.
In keeping with Jared’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Patriot Home Healthcare and Hospice for their loving care of Sam and his family.
