Dustin S. Coakley 1986-2025

WARREN — Dustin S. Coakley, 38, formerly of Windham, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday morning, July 26, 2025, at UH Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, following an automobile accident.

He was born Sept. 30, 1986, in Warren, the son of Robert D. Coakley and Stacy L. Brown. Dustin lived in Warren for the last five years, where he moved following living in Windham, where he graduated from Windham High School in the Class of 2004. He worked as a self-employed driver for the Amish for the last three years. He was also a self-employed construction worker.

Dustin loved the outdoors, fishing, watching basketball and football, camping, playing cards, four-wheeling and sitting around bonfires.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Coakley; stepsister, Jennifer Boone; stepfather, Gregory Hammonds; and grandfathers, Donald C. Brown and Bill Edward Coakley Sr.

Dustin is survived by his mother, Stacy Brown of Windham; three daughters, McKenna Alai of Garrettsville, Audrina Smith of Brookfield and Isabella Coakley of Warren; one son, Lincoln Coakley of Garrettsville; three brothers, Travis (Autumn) Hammonds of Newton Falls, Brett (Ciara) Hammonds of Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, and Stephen (Jessika) Kacenski of Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany; stepmother, Sharon Boone of Champion; sister: Lindsey (Fred) Ritter of Niles; stepsister,: Lisa Boone of Champion; stepbrother, Robert Boone of Warren; many nieces and nephews; and special uncle, Scott (Tracy) Brown of Newton Falls; grandparents, George and Deborah Wisneski of Howland, and Jerry and Loretta Calvert of Pooler, Georgia; and great-grandmother, Ruby Dailey of Warren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls, with Pastor Jennifer Dorn officiating. Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the funeral home.

He will be laid to rest in Windham Township Cemetery, Windham.
