Alma L. Waddell 1938-2025

WARREN — Alma L. Waddell went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2025.

She was born May 4, 1938, in Willard, Kentucky, a daughter of Orin and Gladys Adkins Waddell.

Alma loved being at church. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing, which she did both in church. Alma found solace in reading the Bible and enjoyed reading in her spare time as well. She loved traveling, going to Bible conferences, and her most profound trip was when she went to Israel. She also enjoyed watching wrestling in her younger days.

Alma leaves behind many who loved her, including brothers, Billy Waddell and Arvel (Juanita) Waddell; sister, Deloris Waddell; nieces, Beverly (Richard) Peffer, Donna Waddell, Karen (David) Goldberg and Robin Waddell (Megan Hands); and nephews, Brian (Pamela) Waddell and Wayne (Donna) Waddell. She also leaves behind 15 great-nieces and great-nephews, and many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Alma was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Maxine Waddell; and her sister-in-law, Ruth Waddell.

Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Crown Hill Burial Park Chapel in Vienna, with services to follow at noon. Burial will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park.
