Ronald R. Augustinsky 1946-2025
WARREN — Ronald Richard “Augie” Augustinsky, 78, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025, at his home.
He was born Aug. 27, 1946, in Youngstown, the son of the late Joseph Charles Augustinsky and the late Helen A. Lisowski.
Augie was a 1965 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. He started his career at Packard Electric, where he met his wife on her first day on the job. Augie married Patricia Duda on Sept. 26, 1970. He retired from Packard Electric in 1997 after 33 years of service.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from Dec. 29, 1965, to Dec. 9, 1967, when he received his honorable discharge.
Augie was a member of St. William Catholic Church. He loved old cars, enjoyed fishing and motor home traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Duda Augustinsky of Warren; sons, Robert Mitchell (Melanie) Augustinsky and Brian Richard Augustinsky; daughter, Amy Marie (Matthew) Cohrs; sister, Norma Jean Malachin; brother, Thomas Edward Augustinsky; grandchildren, Ethan and Austin Cohrs, Colt Augustinsky, Amber Dyrcz and Zach Doherty; and great-grandchild, Tyler Huggins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Augustinsky.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2025, at St. William Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
Inurnment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta Township.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
