Nancy Heron Baker 1935-2025
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Nancy Heron Baker passed away peacefully Sunday, June 8, 2025. She finally found eternal peace and was reunited with her husband, Andy, and son, Jon. She was 89 years old.
Nancy was born Aug. 1, 1935, in Cleveland, to William S. and Martha E. Bishop Heron. She grew up in Warren. She attended Warren G. Harding High School, where she met and later married her husband, Andrew E. (Andy / Drew) Baker. They were married for 52 years when Andy passed away in 2005. They lived in many places during their marriage, including New Jersey, New York, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania, and had six children along the way.
Nancy leaves behind a large family who loved her deeply, including children, Bonny (Ken) Eppelheimer of Conifer, Colorado; Barb Baker of Medina; Dutch (Martha) Baker of Scottsdale, Arizona; Jon’s widow, daughter-in-law, Wendy Baker of Tempe, Arizona; Kelly (Steve) Galligan of Canonsburg, Pa.; and Bryan (Kristi) Baker of Indianapolis, Indiana. She had 12 grandchildren, Caitlyn, Brad, Jamey, Travis, Kim, Michael, Brandon, Bethany, Audrey, Morgan, Sam and Nick, and 15 great-grandchildren.
