Linda Luzier 1948-2025
NEWTON FALLS — Linda Luzier, a cherished sister, mother, grandmother and friend, peacefully went to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 5, 2025, at her daughter’s home.
Born April 11, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Duane and Margaret Williamson. Linda’s life was a testament to the strength and caring that characterized her 77 years. She worked as a waitress at Isaly’s in Cortland after high school, then worked and 33 years later retired from a cutter operator position at Packard Electric.
She married James “Ed” Luzier, with whom she had her daughter, Amber Luzier.
Linda enjoyed praising the Lord and keeping track of politics. She found herself spending much of her time with her daughter and her grandsons. Linda loved the Lord and enjoyed helping others in any way that she could, especially serving meals to other community members in an outreach at her church.
Linda leaves behind a legacy of love and memories with her daughter, Amber Luzier (Cody Roosa); three grandsons, Michael Luzier, Ryan Roosa and Samuel Roosa; three sisters, Diana Martin, Marsha (Gary) Bair and Patti Sayers; and nieces and nephews, Grant Martin, Lance Martin, Kimberly Williams-LaFrance, Nikole Thompson, Nathan Sayers, Angela Stout and Monica Bryans. Love also for the late James Spitler and family, Joe Spitler and family, Carol Luzier and family, and Paula Jones and family.
Her departure leaves a void that will be felt deeply by those who loved her. Linda’s life was one of purpose, love and caring. She will be remembered as a woman who truly loved her family and left the world a better place.
Arrangements for a funeral service, 1 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025, at The River Church, 4257 Tod Ave. NW, Warren, OH 44485, with no calling hours, are being made with Lane Shafer-Winans Funeral Home in Cortland.
Linda will be laid to rest near her parents in Meadow Brook Memorial Park, 1211 State Road NW, Warren, OH 44481.
