Judith Kay Kovach 1953-2025
NILES — Judith Kay Kovach, 71, passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening, June 3, 2025, at Hospice House, after a short illness, with her loved ones by her bedside.
Judith was born Oct. 6, 1953, in Warren, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Allen Kovach.
She was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, Class of 1971.
Judith worked as a glassmaker with General Electric until her retirement in 2007. She was a member of the union and was of the Protestant faith.
Her hobbies included shopping, playing bingo, going to casinos and watching Westerns. Most of all Judith loved spending time with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Family was first for her.
Judith leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Ryan Kovach of Niles and his fiancee, Elisabeth Kuhn of Slippery Rock, Pa.; four sisters, Charlotte Pappada, Nancy Holmes, Mary Jo (Charles) Johnstone and Barbara (Dennis) Heeter; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom she adored.
Besides her parents, Judith was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Cline, Joyce Kovach and Betty Venti; and three brothers, Joe Kovach, Robert Kovach and John Kovach.
