Dennis Burrows 1948-2025

Born on Feb. 23, 1948, to Mary and Gene Burrows, Dennis grew up in Niles and graduated from Niles McKinley High School in 1966.

On May 22, 1971, he married the love of his life, Lee Ann, with whom he shared over five decades of love and partnership.

Dennis built a career in the automotive parts industry, beginning in retail sales and eventually founding his own business, Warren Imported Parts. For the final 18 years of his working life, he served as a manager at AutoZone, where he found great fulfillment in helping customers and sharing his knowledge. He retired in 2013. Dennis was passionate about classic cars — especially Jaguars — and was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers.

He was known for his quick wit, trademark bad jokes, and a head of silver hair that never went unnoticed. Always perfectly styled, his hair became a point of pride and earned him the affectionate nickname “Silver Fox.”

More than anything, Dennis was a loving and dedicated family man. He cherished beach vacations and amusement park adventures with his grandchildren, Jack and Bobbi, who brought him endless joy. Whether picking them up from school or cheering them on at every game, Dennis was the kind of grandfather every child dreams of having.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lee Ann; his sons, Craig and Todd (Jaime); and his grandchildren, Jack and Bobbi Burrows. He also leaves behind many friends and loved ones who looked forward to his daily Facebook video messages — small gestures that brightened many days. Dennis will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his humor, kindness, perfectly coiffed hair and the unwavering love he gave to those around him.
