Betty S. Kist 1936-2025
ASHTABULA — Betty S. Poling Kist, 88, of Girard, died Saturday, June 7, 2025.
She was born June 26, 1936, in Tucker County, W.Va., the daughter of Parker and Ethel Keller Poling.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
Survivors include four sons, John Jr. of Girard, Timothy of Springville, Tennessee, Daniel of Ashtabula and James of Perry; and four granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and two siblings.
A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Ashtabula.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Kingsville.
