Helen E. Clime 1929-2025
CHAMPION — Helen E. Clime, 95, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025, at Clearview Lantern Estates in Champion.
She was born Oct. 12, 1929, in Bucyrus, a daughter of the late Charles Clime and the late Alice Whiteley Clime.
Helen was a 1947 graduate of Leavittsburg High School.
She was a veteran of the United States Army, having served from Jan. 2, 1951, until March 28, 1951, when she received an honorable discharge.
Helen was employed by General Electric for 37 years. She enjoyed parties, reading, traveling, listening to music and playing the lottery. Helen was a jokester, loved baseball and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. Helen loved animals, especially cats.
She is survived by her nephew, Bill (Cindy) Thirion of Champion; great-niece, Kellie Cleland; great-nephew, David Thirion; great-niece, Bethany Culp; and many great-great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Thirion Stuber; brother, James Robert Clime; and niece, Virginia Minnick.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor David R. Black will officiate.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Pineview Memorial Park, Warren.
The family requests that material contributions be made to the Animal Welfare League or Healthy Hearts and Paws, in her memory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
