William E. Cooper Sr. 1940-2025

He was born May 23, 1940, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the son of Irene Battle Brassfield, and was raised by aunt and uncle, Ida Bell and James Cooper.

He retired as a bus driver at TCAP. He was a member of Third Christian Church.

Survivors include his children, William E. Jr., Tamara I. Cooper and Saundra Straw; and first wife, Laura D. Lynum Cooper.

William was preceded in death by his second wife, Beverly Cooper.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Third Christian Church.
