Mark A. Baker 1957-2025
WARREN — Mark Alan Baker, known as “Bake” to family and friends, passed away at the age of 67, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
Born Sept. 17, 1957, in Mount Gilead, Mark was the son of the late Malcom Vern and Elizabeth Jean McGraw Baker.
Mark graduated from Warren Western Reserve High School and recently retired as a shipping foreman at Select Steel after 42 years of dedicated service.
Mark cherished his time at home, enjoying sports / games, tending to his yard, watching historical movies and reminiscing about the ’80s. He had a special love for animals and music.
He is survived by his wife, partner and best friend of 20 years, Tracy L. Ellis of Warren; sisters, Brenda Baker-Jakubec and Maryann Baker, both of Warren; numerous nieces and nephews; stepsons, Michael Ellis and Brandon Ellis; and step-grandchild, Lachlan Ellis.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Malcom Vern Baker Jr.
Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Carl W Hall Funeral Home.
