Frederick H. Barbe 1933-2025
BRISTOLVILLE – Frederick Hayes Barbe, 91, died Monday, April 7, 2025.
He was born May 20, 1933, in Warren, the son of Howard and Grace Dayner Barbe, and stepfather, Wayne Stroup.
He retired from Packard Electric. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his children, Cindy Barbe of Taylors, South Carolina, Jeff Barbe of Panama City Beach, Florida, Sheri Barbe Dawson of Conneaut, Barry Barbe of Prescott, Arizona, and Todd Barbe of Cortland; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister, Eleanor Mathews of Oklahoma.
Fred was preceded in death by former spouse, Shirley Barbe; longtime companion, Veronica Peairs; and one granddaughter.
There are no services.
Interment will be in Sager Memorial Cemetery.
