Eugene Martin 1942-2025
MASURY — Eugene Martin, 82, died Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born June 25, 1942, in Cleveland, a son of William J. and Gladys I. Merritt Martin.
He retired from the maintenance department at Sharon Steel.
He was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Masury.
Survivors include son, Chris Martin of Japan; daughter, Courtney Martin of Sharon, Pa., three grandchildren; and sister, Janice Martin of Masury.
Gene was preceded in death by two wives, Valeria Pope Martin and Marjorie Ellerbe Martin.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Olive Baptist Church, with a homegoing and celebration of life service at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
