Bernard J. Weatherspoon 1957-2025

He was born Sept. 3, 1957, in Warren, the son of William and Marie Stroud Weatherspoon.

A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Bernard worked in conditioning for RMI and Howmet from 1980 to 2008.

In his younger days, he was a terrific athlete and he kept himself in shape throughout his life. He had a gift for putting a smile on everyone’s face.

He attended Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church and Greater Apostolic Faith Church. He enjoyed using his talents to play his bongos and the drums for the Lord.

Precious memories of Bernard live on with his nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends, all of whom remember him fondly.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his sister, Betty Brightwell.

Calling hours are 10:30 to 11 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2025, at Greater Apostolic Faith Church, 3571 Tod Ave. NW, Warren, OH 44485, where services will begin at 11 a.m.

All who knew and loved Bernard are welcome to attend and celebrate his great life.
