Barbara A. George 1945-2025

She was born Aug. 19, 1945, in Warren, the daughter of the late Clifford Wilson Naylor and the late Helen Mae Hockensmith Naylor.

Barbara attended LaBrae (Leavittsburg) High School. She previously worked at Warren Sanitary Dairy, Ravenna Arsenal, Packard and Sunny Slopes Greenhouse in Gustavus. She had many hobbies over the years, from windsurfing, kayaking, taking cruises, glass etching and painting. Barb loved ’50s music and hot dog roasts with family.

Barb was a loving wife and mother of four children, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is survived by her children, Ronald Andrew Hegedus of Mecca, Edward Allen (Penny) Hegedus of Austintown, Heather Lee (Tim) Paisley of Mantua and Monika Lynn Russell of Columbus; grandchildren, Valerie Anne Hegedus, Kensie Marie Russell, Paige Mae Paisley and Piper Lynn Russell; great-grandson, Deaven Lee Scruggs; sister, Nancy M. (Richard) Tabor; and brothers, James W. (Darlene) Naylor, William E. (Cindy) Naylor and Larry E. (Rochelle) Naylor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Timothy C. George; and her sister, Sandra Lee Naylor.

Keeping with Barbara’s wishes there will be no calling hours or service.

Interment will be in Gustavus Cemetery, Gustavus Township.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
