Christine Brown 1948-2024

Christine was a member of God’s All Nations Pentecostal Church in Rome, Ohio. She enjoyed cooking, eating and taking care of other people’s children. She was a homebody who wouldn’t pass up a chance to travel.

Precious memories of Christine live on with her daughter, Angela Brown of Chicago, Illinois; a son, Carl (Lynn) Brown of Leavittsburg; seven grandchildren, Sabrina Lockett, Julius Crawford, Dominique Dorsey, Auntshae Tate, Carl Brown Jr., Colton Brown and Dominique Brown; a host of great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Katherine Baskerville of Rome, Vera (William) Chase of California, Bernice (Nathaniel) Rollins of California, Robert (Faye) Williams of Warren, Wilbur (Cindi) Williams of Huron, South Dakota, and Eva Williams and Rose Williams, both of Warren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Brown; son, Darren Brown; two grandsons, Howard Dorsey and Darren Brown Jr.; and four brothers, Johnie Williams, James Williams, Jimmy Williams and Ray Kennedy.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of service noon on Monday, Nov. 4, 2024, at St. James Church of God in Christ, 1838 Main Ave. SW, Warren.
