Theresa D. Mullins 1955-2024

Theresa was born July 7, 1955, in Ashtabula, to Stephen and Christine DiMare, one of five daughters, Barbara DiMare of Cortland, Cynthia Zigmund of Silver Lake, Patricia Allen of Sun City, Florida, and Stephanie DiMare (deceased).

She attended Ashtabula Harbor High School before majoring in nursing at Kent State University, Ashtabula, and Youngstown State University. Theresa dedicated her career to helping others as a registered nurse, working in hospitals, schools in the Lakeview school district and through at-home care.

Theresa enjoyed traveling and hosting family gatherings, but most of all loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She will be missed most for her friendship and thoughtfulness.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Christine DiMare; and sister, Stephanie DiMare.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Mullins of Bloomingdale, Illinois; daughter, Christina and Matt McGleam, and grandchildren, Abby, Charlotte and Grant of Chicago, Illinois; and son, Jonathan Mullins and Stasi Gomez, and grandchild, Caroline of Westminster, Colorado.

The family will honor the memory of their beloved wife, mother and grandmother by conducting a celebration of life ceremony in the coming weeks.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Pink Lights the Way organization, pinklightstheway.org.
