Patricia M. Sunderman 1931-2024

She was born June 19, 1931, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Leo A. and the late Rose Sattler Billock.

Patricia was a graduate of Ursuline High School. She retired from Giant Eagle in 1986 after 17 years of service.

Patricia was a lifelong caregiver. Her family and church were her main focus. She was active at St. Pius Church, where she was an Eucharistic minister and was in the bereavement ministry and the Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by her children, Mary “Missy” Vinton, Sandy (Thomas) Boone, Michael (Mary) Sunderman, Matthew (Deborah) Otto Sunderman and Lynn Vugrincic; grandchildren, Erin (Mitch), Dan (Katie), Matt (Kelsey), Cara (Wes), Ben (Courtney), Broderick, Kelsey (Aubrey), Jesse and Allie; and great-grandchildren, Tessa, Jack, Lainey and Charlotte.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Sunderman; son-in-law, Michael Vugrincic; siblings, Rose Marie, Edward, James, Bernard, William “Billy,” Leo, Dorothy, Ruth and Mary; and grandson, Liam.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2024, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Private interment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.

The family would like to thank the staff at Community Commons, where Patricia resided for eight years, for their love and care.
