Patricia Ann Koby 1938-2024

She was born June 15, 1938, in Warren, to the late Charles Vail and Lona Keesecker Vail. She was a 1956 graduate of Howland High School and went on to marry the love of her life, Edgar Koby Sr. on April 28, 1958, with whom she spent nearly 60 years. After their marriage, Patty and her husband moved out to California, eventually coming back to Ohio in order to start a family. They built a loving home and went on to raise three children, and Patty helped her husband run the family business, Koby Radiator.

Patty had many interests, such as gardening, bird watching, bringing wildlife to the backyard and sewing all the Halloween costumes for her grandchildren, but her favorite activity was hosting the family holidays.

To carry on her memory, Patty leaves behind her three children, Lisa Street, Edgar Koby Jr. and Robert Koby; as well as seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Patty was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her two brothers, Jim Vail and Norm Vail.

Per the wishes of the family, services will be held privately.
