Norma J. Collins 1935-2024
WARREN — Norma Jean Collins, 88, of Warren, formerly of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at Continuing Health Care at the Ridge.
She was born Nov. 28, 1935, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Clayton Hensley and Opal Coleman Hensley. On April 23,1953, she married Earl G. Collins and they spent the next 56 years together until his passing in 2010.
Norma kept a clean and tidy home, and was known for her good southern cooking. She loved her Warren Baptist Temple Family.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Darla J. (Lauro) Corradi of Carnesville, Georgia; son, Jeffrey E. Collins of Warren; brothers, Bill (Janet) Hensley of Niles and James (Nancy) Hensley of Girard; and a granddaughter, Megan M. Corradi of Westminster, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Earl G. Collins; and brothers, Ben (Betty) Hensley and Jerry Hensley.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, at Warren Baptist Temple, where Pastor Jim Dittmar will officiate. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Park.
