Mary L. Everson 1938-2024

She was born on Jan. 4, 1938, in Mesopotamia, to the late Frank and Gladys Ruswinkle Slusher.

Mary was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family whom she loved dearly. In her spare time, she also enjoyed crafting. She was married to her husband, Richard on Oct. 6, 1956. She will be missed deeply by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Bud and Gib Slusher.

She is survived by her husband, Richard D. Everson; children, Rich (Joni) Everson and Cindy (Darryll) Hynst; grandchildren, Erin (Dan) Pernice and Megan (Nathan) Robinette; great-grandchildren, Riley, Carter and Avery; siblings, Lou Slusher, Lee Slusher and Ethel Leathers.

The family would like to extend special thanks to those at Expand Health, Tawny, Jeff and Todd; at Traditions Hospice, Bill, Wayne, Kara, Crystal and Laurie; and at Home Instead, Lynn.

Per her wishes, private funeral services were held in her memory.

The family is in the care of Lane Funeral Home, Shafer-Winans Chapel.
