Marian Tabor 1928-2024
WARREN — Marian Mason Tabor, 96, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024, at her residence, following complications of an extended illness.
She was born May 30, 1928, in Struthers, the daughter of Robert and Lucy Kimbrough Mason.
She retired as a teacher’s aide with Warren City Schools, and as a teacher at Second Baptist Church preschool and Grace A.M.E. Church Sunday school, where she was a member.
Survivors include sons, Chris Tabor III of Warren, Phillip Tabor of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and David Tabor of Cleveland Heights; daughter, Victoria Tabor-Joseph of Lansing, Michigan; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Tabor Jr.; three brothers; and two sisters.
Services will be 11 a.m., with calling hours from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, at the Grace A.M.E. Church.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Arrangements were by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
