Lisa McMillan 1970-2024

Born on April 11, 1970, in Warren, Lisa was the daughter of John and Sara Shank McMillan. She graduated from Jackson-Milton High School and Mahoning County JVS in 1988, later earning her medical assisting degree from ETI Technical College in 2006.

A passionate reader, talented artist and music lover, Lisa had a deep appreciation for classic movies, a love she instilled in her children. As a dedicated mother and grandmother, she cherished her family and found joy in her work as a phlebotomist, a profession she pursued with enthusiasm until her retirement in 2024.

Lisa is survived by her children, Amanda Wilson (John Chamberlain), Holly Wilson and Eugene Wilson (Michelle Novak); and her granddaughter, Zoey Duley, all of Girard. She also leaves behind her brother, George McMillan of Jacksonville, Florida; and her sisters, Nina McMillan of Newton Falls and Rebecca (Joe) Miller of Sistersville, W.Va.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sara McMillan; niece, Sarah McMillan; nephews, Kirtus McMillan and Ian McMillan; and several dear aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Lisa’s life and the love she shared with those around her from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, at the Weathersfield Fire House, 2229 Gardenland Ave., Niles, OH 44446.

Lisa will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, unwavering love and the lasting impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
