Joe A. Weaver 1939-2024
TROY TOWNSHIP — Joe A. Weaver, 85, died Sunday morning, Oct. 27, 2024, at his home.
He was born May 1, 1939, in Burton, to Ammon J. and Mary Wengerd Weaver.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Esther; children, Sarah Slaubaugh, Mary Slaubaugh, Crist Weaver, Leah Weaver, Katie Schmucker and Neal Weaver; 33 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one brother; and four sisters.
Joe was preceded in death by one grandchild, one brother and one sister.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at 18085 Mumford Road, Burton.
Visitation will be anytime until the morning of the service.
Joe’s final resting place will be in Sugar Loaf Cemetery, Troy Township.
Arrangements were handled by Best Funeral Home, Middlefield.
