Alma M. Stabile 1937-2024

She was born Dec. 10, 1937, in Youngstown, the daughter of Perry and Mary Severino Cervello.

Alma was a 1955 graduate of Youngstown East High School and was employed as a secretary at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School for 34 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of Saint Pope John XXIII Catholic Church-Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles where she was a festival volunteer. She enjoyed spending time with family.

Her husband, Robert N. Stabile, whom she married on Nov. 16, 1957, died Nov. 5, 2011.

She will be sadly missed by a son, Robert A. Stabile and his wife, Angela of Girard; a daughter Denise Eddy and her husband, Dr. Christopher of Niles; a brother, Charles Cervello of California; a sister, Linda Susany of Austintown; and two grandchildren, Dr. Alexis Marie Eddy of Akron and attorney Nicolette Anne Eddy of Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Perry Cervello.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Saint Pope John XXIII Catholic Church-Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 381 Robbins Ave., Niles, OH 44446, preceded by a 10:30 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
