William G. Kovanes 1944-2024
MIDDLEFIELD — William “Bill” Grover Kovanes, 79, died Monday, Aug. 12, 2024, at Ohman Family Living at Holly Hill in Newbury.
He was born Sept. 14, 1944, in Lorain, the son of Alvern and Valerie Simon Kovanes, and stepfather, John Sipos.
He retired as a teacher at Cardinal Local Schools.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra M. Dolan Kovanes; son, Christopher Kovanes of Los Angeles, California; one grandson; and sister, Deborah Hamilton of North Ridgeville.
Services will be private at a later date.
Arrangements were by Best Funeral Home, Middlefeld.
