Willie C. McNeal 1949-2024
WARREN — Willie Clarence McNeal, 75, died Friday, May 31, 2024, at Washington Square Healthcare, following extended illness.
He was born April 19, 1949, in Macon, Georgia, the son of Charlie and Annie Mae Lawson McNeal.
He had retired from employment as a crane operator at Dinesol Plastics Inc. and previously at General Motors Packard Electric and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine Shellman McNeal of Warren; sons, Keon Daniels of Atlanta and Malik McNeal of Warren; daughters, Tamara Scrivens and Tanesha McNeal, both of Warren; brothers, Minister Leon McNeal of Riverside, California, Wayne McNeal of Seattle and Christopher Simmons of Warren; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Yessheca Nicole McElroy; one brother; and one sister.
Calling hours will be 1 p.m., with services at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home, which handled arrangements.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
