Kathy Raines 1954-2024
WARREN — Kathy Raines of Warren, formerly of Niles, passed away at 7:56 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital. She was 69.
Kathy was born in Petersburg, W.Va., on Dec. 24, 1954, the daughter of the late Michael and Ruby Lough Raines.
She was a 1973 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Kathy retired after 30 years of employment at the Warren GE Ohio Lamp Plant.
Ms. Raines enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harleys. She was an animal lover and ran a dog animal rescue shelter for many years. Kathy volunteered at the Hospice House in Poland for many years and assisted elderly people with dementia.
She is survived by two sisters, Debbie Falatic, and Candace Swindler; three brothers, Larry, Terry and Fred Raines; her loving dog, Precious; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by a niece, Danelle Raines.

A private entombment will take place in Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
