Mark E. Blessing 1959-2022
WARREN — Mark E. Blessing was born into this world on Jan. 24, 1959, to Elizabeth Mongelluzo Blessing and Donald R. Blessing Sr. of Cortland, and, he parted from it on May 1, 2022, in his residence, at the age of 63.
Mark attended Lakeview and finished his schooling at Niles McKinley High School, graduating in the Class of 1977.
He grew up creative and loved working with his hands. He was an artist that enjoyed music, cooking, gardening and always loved a good book. He worked at Big Daddy’s Restaurant on Elm Road, as a cook, for years, with his wife, Bobbie Jo Blessing, whom he married Sept. 19, 1986. He also worked for many years at Kundel and Ohio Trailer in Warren as a welder. Mark will be joining his mother, father and wife.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Stacey Blessing Mathews, Mark Blessing Jr., Stephen Blessing and Amy Blessing; his siblings, Donald Blessing Jr., Steven Blessing, Cathy Blessing and Daniel Blessing; and his grandchildren, Samantha Mathews, Emma Mathews and Stacey Blessing.
The family will be having a private celebration of life.
