Roger L. Dyson 1938-2021

Roger was born in Troy Township, on March 24, 1938, to Charlotte Alma Bailey Dyson and Clarence Arthur Dyson.

He grew up in Troy, attending school in Troy, Hiram and Case Western Reserve. He married Linda Hull on Jan. 12, 1957.

Roger was a man of all trades working in construction, heavy equipment operation and plastics, working his way up into management. Roger retired from Trumbull Memorial Hospital in the carpenter shop. He was an avid car enthusiast, owning 65 different cars in his life. He was known for his powerful personality and wit.

Roger is survived by his wife, Linda of Warren; six children, Debra (Rollin) Hippler of Morrisville, N.C., Charlotte Monroe (Ron Surgeon) of Middlefield, Mark (Vanessa) Dyson of Las Vegas, Sheree (Jerry) Allen of Manheim, Pa., Marty (Diane) Dyson of White Bear Lake, Minn. and Diane (Darrin) Hillier of Cortland; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

His parents; two sisters, Marie McDivitt and Phyllis Simpson; and one great-grandson, preceded him in death.

Staton-Borowski Funeral Home of Warren will handle cremation. A private family service will take place graveside.
