Jamar S. Grove 1984-2021

He was a kind and compassionate person and was loved by many.

He was a nature lover and marveled at the beauty God created. Jamar was a good artist, listener and conversationalist. He was technology savvy and loved wrestling and anime. He also attended truck driving school and worked various jobs.

He leaves to mourn his mother, aka “Mommy,” Jasmine A. Austin (James L. Austin Sr.) of Warren; his father, Albert S. Grove (Dolores Grove) of Youngstown; three brothers, Jerrell E.B. Grove of Atlanta, Ga., Corey Grove of Youngstown and Maurice Grissett of Florida; seven sisters, Annette Parker, Necia Grove and Mikko Parker, all of Columbus, Machelle Sampson (Desmond) of Atlanta, Tawni Caban (Victor), India Prisby and Venus Cataldo, all of Youngstown; three stepbrothers, James L. Austin Jr., Lamar Austin (Joslynn) and Kwayne Austin (Aisha), all of Warren; and two stepsisters, Soncavia Brown of Warren and Michelle Lauray (Lawrence) of Missouri.

He also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, July 31, 2021, for a memorial service at 1 p.m. at the Lakeview Recreation Area 3285, 3001 at Mosquito Creek Lake, Cortland. Picnic tables are available in the pavilion. Please bring your own chair, if you prefer.
